There I was sitting in a room full of marketing experts listening for some insights into how I could close more deals. The speaker had a monotone and was actually making me sleepy.

Let me back up for a minute ok?
We all want to close more deals. Bigger deals with clients who don’t shop us to death and generate these deals without having to beg or worry about agent loyalty.

My first natural response was DUH! Of course you will but I then realized that he was right. I was “hoping” instead of testing and planning.

Stop hoping- you can think positively and you should but you need to back that up with action.
